Major Action After Amlai OCM Accident: RKTC Infratech Dismisses GM Among Eight Officials


Dhanpuri / Amlai: In connection with the accident that occurred during the second shift on October 11, 2025, at the Magazine Patch of Amlai OCM in the Amlai OCP area, RKTC Infratech Limited has taken stringent administrative action. The company has terminated the services of eight officials and employees, including the Project Head (General Manager), with immediate effect, holding them responsible for the incident.
This information has been officially communicated through an Action Taken Report submitted by RKTC Infratech Limited to the Amlai–Dhanpuri Sub-Area Management of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL).
Decision Taken After High-Level Review
According to company management, the incident was reviewed at the appropriate senior management level. Keeping in view operational discipline, safety standards, and accountability, a firm and decisive action was taken against those found responsible.
Officials Facing Termination
The officials removed from service include those holding key positions such as:
Production Manager
Project Head (GM)
Shift In-Charge
Site Supervisors
The company has further clarified that other supervisory personnel associated with the concerned shift and operation have also faced necessary action.

RKTC Infratech Limited has assured SECL management that all statutory and safety regulations are being strictly complied with in the mining operations. The company emphasized that safety remains its highest priority, and concrete steps are being taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
